Our client is an established name within the air hygiene industry, who are looking to recruit a hardworking Lead Air Hygiene Engineer to cover a variety of contracts, based in the Leeds area. The candidate will have previous industry experience working within an air hygiene role, undertaking duct and kitchen ventilation cleans. They will ideally have experience acting as lead on site, however, the client is happy to consider applications from air hygiene engineers of all levels. Applications will be considered from Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience
- Applicants must have previous demonstrable experience working in this role within the air hygiene industry.
- An industry qualification will be advantageous.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be flexible and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Role
- Testing, inspection, ducting and remedial works of fire dampers.
- Air Handling Unit maintenance.
- Fire damper installation / maintenance.
- Kitchen Extract Cleans.
- Ventilation Cleans.
- Bacteriological sampling.
- Cleaning and disinfection of ductwork.
- Supervising engineers on site.
- Ensuring that all works are undertaken within H&S guidelines.
- Report writing.
- Completing paperwork and logbooks.
- Liaising with clients at all levels.
