Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Lab Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Lab Analyst.
Profile: Our client is a rapidly growing asbestos / environmental company, who work hard to deliver the full range of asbestos works to their range of healthcare, industrial, commercial and retail clients across the UK. Due to increasing workloads, they are now looking to take on a hardworking and qualified Asbestos Lab Analyst. The ideal candidate will hold the P401 qualification and will have extensive experience working within a laboratory environment in the asbestos industry. For the right candidate, our client is also willing to offer training into further P cert qualifications.
Applications will be considered from: Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Hull, Goole, Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham, Barnsley, Harrogate, Malton, and Thirsk.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Must hold the P401 or RSPH Equivalent qualification.
- Must have a proven track record working in a laboratory and within the asbestos industry.
- Must have excellent organisational skills.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
The Role:
- Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory.
- Preparing samples for analysis and carrying out analysis for fibre content efficiently and adhering to UKAS regulations.
- Completing analysis test sheets as and when required and ensuring every effort to complete workload within the required time frame.
- Getting involved with other laboratory tasks as and when required.
- Entering data and analysing and checking reports.
- Completing and uploading reports as and when required.
- Liaising and assisting clients with regards to enquiries.
- Dealing with internal and external databases and offering technical help to customers and staff.
