Due to recently winning new commercial and infrastructure contracts, a respected name within the Pre-Commissioning / Water Treatment industry is recruiting for a reliable Engineer to join their team. You will be conducting full flushing and BSRIA compliant duties, ensuring to deliver a professional and thorough service to all clients.
The ideal candidate will have robust industry technical knowledge and must be able to integrate smoothly into the company. Experience / Qualifications:
- Strong track record working as a Water Treatment Pre‑Commissioning Engineer
- Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and BSRIA guidelines
- It would be advantageous to hold experience of leading on projects
- Ideally will hold the tickets such as: CSCS, Confined Spaces and / or Safe Pass
- Willing to travel in line with company needs
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Professional manner
The Role:
- Conducting BSRIA compliant pre‑commissioning cleans on existing heated and chilled, fan coil, AHU, LTHW and CHW systems
- Chemical dosing and chemistry testing
- Black‑flushing and power‑flushing
- Pipework and tank chlorinations
- Calculating flow rates and velocities
- Working from schematics
- Keeping accurate records of works undertaken and producing detailed technical reports
- Adhering to industry safety guidelines
- Leading other engineers on projects
- Providing regular updates to clients and technical advice
