Due to the current and strategic state of the business, they are actively seeking an enthusiastic, confident, competent and ambitious Asbestos Bid Manager to join their busy team/office in Yorkshire, including applications from West and South Yorkshire. This role entails covering a vast area across the country.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ideally, the individual will come from a strong educational, administrative, office, sales technical, management, removals and consultancy background within the asbestos/environmental market.
  • Must have excellent communication, people management, organizational, presentation and leadership skills.
  • Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Package.
  • Must have a proven track record working within this role and within the asbestos and environmental industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all bids, tenders, PQQs and other corporate documents are collated and submitted for the company within the time frame and to a high standard.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that all information is consistent and up to date.
  • Identifying asbestos removals – looking for opportunities within the commercial, public and private sectors.
  • Managing the Bid qualification process and managing the bid inputs.
  • Preparing and reviewing the technical and quality aspects of the bid.
  • Ensuring that the client information is maintained.
  • Ensuring tenders are completed and submitted accurately and within the timeline.
  • Completing the proposals (written) and preparing summaries for management.
  • Understanding and solving various issues – technical, etc.
  • Arranging reviews and feedback to the company’s portfolio of clients.
  • Delivering improvement to tender documentation.
  • Preparing and winning bids while taking responsibility for the bid process – end to end.
  • Delivering continual improvement regarding tender documentation.
  • Maintaining and building a good rapport with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
