Profile
Our client is a national name, they are a multidisciplinary environmental/Health and Safety company who provide a range of services across construction, Healthcare, Leisure, Educational and social housing sites across the UK. They are now looking to take on a qualified and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor based in and around the Edinburgh area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working as a legionella risk assessor, working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines.
Experience & Qualifications
- Will have extensive experience working within the Legionella industry, ideally working as a legionella risk assessor.
- Will hold the City and Guilds / WMSoc in legionella risk assessing.
- Will have good working knowledge of health and safety / ACOP L8 guidelines.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
The Role
- Carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines.
- Undertaking surveys of water systems.
- Undertaking temperature monitoring and water sampling.
- Collecting information from site to provide clients with detailed reports.
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
