A UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is seeking an organised and adaptable Asbestos Administrator / Coordinator for their office in the South East of England. Daily duties will be varied and will align with changing business needs, so it is essential that applicants have robust administrative experience and will be able to manage their own workload. Candidates must be within a commutable distance to the office and will be working on a full‑time basis. Salaries on offer are competitive and come alongside usual benefits packages.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have proven experience working as an Administrator / Coordinator within an Asbestos Consultancy
- It would be beneficial to hold industry qualifications, such as: BOHS P401, P402, or RSPH equivalents
- Good working knowledge of the Asbestos industry and process
- Strong organisational skills
- Proficient in using IT software, such as: Microsoft Office Suite, TEAMS and / or Tracker
- Confident communicator
The Role:
- Supporting the successful delivery of Asbestos services to a variety of clients
- Proof‑reading and editing asbestos reports and documents, and issuing to clients
- Processing incoming enquiries from clients (via telephone and email)
- Arranging appointments and projects for site staff, including Surveyors and Analysts
- Monitoring the progress of contracts, ensuring deadlines are met
- Liaising with clients to arrange site access
- Working closely with members of management to oversee work allocation
- Processing invoices and quotations
- Data entry onto an internal database
- Acting as the face of the company, maintaining high levels of service
