Our client is a highly regarded asbestos consultancy who provide professional asbestos management services to clients across the UK. They currently have a vacancy for an experienced and committed Asbestos Contracts Manager based in and around the Doncaster area. The successful candidate will come from an asbestos removal background and will be experienced in the development and management of new and existing contracts and overseeing the completion of projects. The role is operationally focused and highly organized. Applications from Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong asbestos removals, contracts and management background.
- Previous experience in a contracts manager role within the asbestos industry.
- Experience working on commercial sites and schools and universities.
- Excellent working knowledge of asbestos Health and Safety legislations/procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- We are also interested in anyone with P401/P402/P403/P404/P405 or S301 CCP.
Role
- Contract managing asbestos removal projects.
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and client specification.
- Complete risk assessments, method statements, write tenders, PPQs, specifications and ASB5 notifications.
- Attend sites to monitor standards and compliance.
- Achieve KPI’s.
- Assess potential contracts.
- Organise staff to achieve contract completion.
- Collate and produce management reports in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
- Assist with Health & Safety training/issues.
- Deal with incoming sales enquiries.
- Liaise with clients in a professional manner.
- Generate new business leads.
