A privately owned Water Treatment / Water Hygiene Company are now in the market to recruit a Water Treatment Service Engineer across the South East. You will be delivering a range of Water Treatment services across Commercial, Domestic, Public Sector, Leisure Sites in line with HSG legislations and will be assisting in the training and development of trainee engineers, ensuring work is being carried out in line with the company’s high standard.
Candidate will be working across South London / Kent and Surrey area and consideration will be given to applicants from; Gravesend, Chatham, Gillingham, Canterbury, Ashford, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Croydon, Epsom, Bromley, Romford, Woking, Guildford, Bracknell, Reigate, Crawley, Horsham.
Experience & Qualifications
- Good technical knowledge of Closed Systems, Cooling Towers and Steam Boilers.
- Experience using onsite test kits is essential to the role.
- Confident in using water treatment chemicals and dosing systems.
- Working within the water treatment industry for a reputable company would be beneficial.
- Must have extensive & practical knowledge of HSG legislation.
- Will have excellent communication skills and be able to organise schedule efficiently.
- IT literate.
The Role
- Closed system sampling and analysis using onsite test kits.
- Dosing system with required chemicals.
- Steam boilers and Cooling tower analysis.
- Chilled water systems analysis & dosing.
- Carrying out cooling tower cleans and chlorinations.
- Steam boiler acid descales and cleans.
- Undertaking service and descale of hot water calorifiers.
- Refurbishing, cleaning, and chlorination of CWST.
- Mains injection.
- Supervising and assisting in training new engineers.
- Using Information from site and technical knowledge to supply clients with detailed reports.
