We are currently recruiting for a forward-thinking and growing water treatment / legionella company, who is looking to recruit a motivated and dynamic Water Treatment Engineer / Remedial Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate would have experience working for an established water treatment company delivering legionella compliance / remedial duties to a mixed portfolio of contracts, overseeing teams of engineers, and providing quotes for remedial works. Ideally applicants will hold the city and Guilds level 2 or 3 plumbing qualification, although consideration will be given to candidates with hands on experience within a remedial technician role.

Qualifications & Experience

• Will ideally hold the level 2 / 3 plumbing qualification.
• Have hands on experience working within an established water treatment / water hygiene or legionella company.
• Experienced in delivering legionella compliance duties, alongside remedial plumbing tasks.
• Good working knowledge of the water treatment industry and legislations.
• Proficient with Microsoft office package.
• Excellent communication skills.

Role

• Delivering water treatment and remedial plumbing duties inline with ACOP L8.
• Working on a mixed portfolio of contracts including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Overseeing a small team of engineers on site.
• Providing quotes for small scale remedial works.
• Disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans, descales and remedial work.
• Monitoring client’s air and water systems ensuring that they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation.
• Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers.
• Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
• Installation & maintenance of dosing systems.
• Providing accurate reports and maintaining paperwork.
• Maintaining a good working relationship with clients.
