Our client is an established and successful national clean air company, who provides a wide range of building compliance services to clients throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for a Cleanroom Validation/LEV Engineer based in and around the Dartford area. Consideration will be given to candidates with Critical Air, Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) and HVAC experience. The BOHS P601 and relevant Eastwood Park training would be beneficial to the role. Consideration will be given to applications from Ashford, Maidstone, Canterbury, and the surrounding areas.

Experience

  • Will hold experience working as a validation engineer within the critical ventilation / healthcare sector.
  • Experience of testing LEV’s, fume cupboards, laminar flow cabinets is desirable but not essential.
  • Will ideally hold the P601 and relevant Eastwood Park Training.
  • Experience in undertaking a wide range of critical ventilation testing.
  • Proven track record of validating and verifying ventilation systems in accordance with HTM 03-01 regulations.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of compliance and health & safety guidelines.
  • Ability to manage own time and workload.
  • Confident in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Holds strong communication skills.

Role

  • Testing critical ventilation systems within the healthcare sector; validating and verifying the systems in accordance with the relevant industry regulations.
  • Carrying out airflow and pressure measurements, microbiological air sampling, noise and environmental measurements, auditing of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and re-balancing airflows.
  • Carrying out DOP and HEPA testing.
  • Report writing and consulting with clients on findings and recommendations.
  • Maintenance of instruments & equipment, including arranging repairs and recalibrations when necessary.
  • Providing support and training to site engineers.
