Our client is seeking a multi-skilled Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer to cover a range of client contracts across the Midlands region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of undertaking water hygiene and basic remedial tasks, as you must be able to hit the ground running. Our client is a reputable and well-known name within the industry, who are renowned for providing excellent further training and development for hardworking candidates. Ideally, candidates will be based in: Coventry, Rugby, Solihull, Nuneaton, Royal Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Droitwich Spa, Dudley, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Kidderminster, Burntwood, Lichfield, Tamworth, Cannock, Stafford, Hinckley, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Coalville.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Track record working as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer
  • Ideally will hold plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 1, Level 2 and/or Level 3, G3 Unvented ticket)
  • Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  • Experience working across a range of premises
  • IT literate
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

  • Showerhead descales
  • Basic flushing on outlets
  • CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections
  • TMV servicing and failsafe checks
  • Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
  • Deadleg removals
  • Pipework modifications
  • Highlighting any faults or leaks on systems
  • Updating site logbooks
  • Recording findings and works completed
