Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber

Profile: Our client is a leading name within the water hygiene / Legionella industry. Holding a national presence, they work across educational, Healthcare, Retail, and social housing sites, providing the full range of water hygiene/ Water treatment / Legionella duties. They are now looking to take on a qualified and thorough Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber based in and around the Coventry area. The ideal candidate must hold the City and Guilds and / or NVQ L2/L3 in plumbing and will have extensive experience carrying out shower head descales, temperature monitoring, water sampling and TMV servicing across a mixed portfolio of sites along side carrying out remedial plumbing works in line with company needs.

Experience & Qualifications

• Must have extensive water hygiene / Legionella experience across a mixed range of sites.
• Will hold the City and Guilds and / or NVQ L2 / L3 in plumbing.
• Will have excellent knowledge on relevant Health and Safety / ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using Microsoft office.

The Role

• Carrying out analysis on closed system and chemical dosing.
• Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers.
• Servicing, Repairing and replacing TMVs.
• Descaling showerheads.
• Undertaking routine temperature monitoring, sampling and analysis of water.
• Carrying out maintenance and installation on dosing systems.
• Carrying out remedial works in line with company needs.
• Ensuring that all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety / ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Building and maintaining good working relationship with clients.
