Due to recently winning new contracts, a privately-owned Legionella / Water Hygiene outfit is recruiting for a hands-on and hardworking Legionella Remedial Plumber. They are ideally seeking someone who is based in the Midlands, who is open to travel further afield when required. Applicants must have a diverse range of experience within the industry, and will be self-sufficient whilst carrying out reactive and PPM tasks. Our client is able to offer fantastic progression and training, in addition to competitive salaries and benefits packages (including: fleet vehicle, overtime, pension scheme and fuel card).
We are able to consider candidates from the following locations: Coventry, Rugby, Daventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Alcester, Redditch, Solihull, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Stourbridge, Dudley, West Bromwich, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Burntwood, Cannock, Penkridge, Tamworth, Droitwich Spa, Lichfield, Stafford, Coalville, Nottingham, Swadlincote.
Experience / Qualifications
- Strong history working as a Legionella Remedial Plumber
- Must hold the NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Plumbing as a minimum
- Ideally will be qualified with the Level 3 in Plumbing and the G3 Unvented ticket
- Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Adaptable to changing travel needs
Role
- Undertaking a wide range of PPM and some call-out remedial plumbing duties
- TMV servicing and replacement
- Deadleg removals
- Servicing and installing vented and unvented water cylinders
- Calorifier inspections and installations
- CWST refurbishments and replacements
- Decommissioning of existing systems
- Highlighting any faults on systems and making recommendations to rectify
- Keeping accurate records of works completed
- Representing the company in a professional manner
- Working to set deadlines and personal targets
