We are recruiting for an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover sites across the Midlands region. You will be joining a well‑known name within the Asbestos industry, who holds UKAS accreditation and UK wide presence. You will be conducting full asbestos surveys, air monitoring and analytical duties across a mixed portfolio of client sites. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include overtime, company vehicle, pension and annual leave allowance.
Locations of work include: Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Stratford‑upon‑Avon, Redditch, Birmingham, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Leicester, Daventry, Northampton, Bromsgrove, Droitwich Spa, Worcester, Kidderminster, Halesowen, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Lichfield, Tamworth, Derby, Cannock, Penkridge, Swadlincote, Coalville, Nottingham.
Qualifications
- Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst or Surveyor or Analyst
- Will hold industry qualifications, including: BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents)
- Good understanding of HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
- Flexible to travel across a range of client sites
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Proficient in using IT software
- We are also interested in anyone with p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or s301 CCP.
Responsibilities
- Performing management, refurbishment, demolition and re‑inspection asbestos surveys
- Safely obtaining and bagging ACM samples from site
- Conducting 4 stage clearances
- Full air monitoring duties, including: smoke, reassurance, background, leak and personal
- Producing site‑specific technical reports
- Working across asbestos removals projects, varying in size and type
- Wearing correct PPE at all times
- Representing the company in a professional manner
