Our client is an established name within the air hygiene industry, who are looking to recruit a hardworking Air Hygiene Engineer to cover a variety of contracts, based in the Colchester area. The ideal candidate will have previous industry experience in both the air and water hygiene sector; however, candidates with just air experience, undertaking duct and kitchen ventilation, will be considered. Applications will be considered from Essex, Basildon, Southend on Sea, and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Applicants must have previous demonstrable experience working in this role within the air hygiene industry.
  • An industry qualification will be advantageous.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Be flexible and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Role

  • Testing, inspection, ducting and remedial works of fire dampers.
  • Air Handling Unit maintenance.
  • Fire damper installation / maintenance.
  • Kitchen Extract Cleans.
  • Ventilation Cleans.
  • Bacteriological sampling.
  • Cleaning and disinfection of ductwork.
  • Report writing.
  • Completing paperwork and logbooks.
  • Liaising with clients at all levels.
