Overview
This multi-disciplinary company provides a variety of environmental and occupational hygiene services to clients across the UK. Due to current business requirements, they are looking to employ a hardworking Occupational Hygienist based in London. Candidate will ideally hold experience undertaking workplace assessments, air monitoring, COSHH assessments, testing indoor air quality. Applications from Watford, Epsom, Slough, Dartford and nearby areas will be considered.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Science degree (beneficial).
- Qualified and experienced Occupational Hygienist holding BIOH/IOA or equivalent qualifications.
- Qualifications in general Health & Safety (e.g. NEBOSH Certificate) would be advantageous.
- Good working knowledge of the relevant disciplines involved.
- Well versed with Health & Safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake a range of occupational hygiene related projects – e.g. workplace assessments, air monitoring, COSHH assessments, noise, fumes, dust & hand-arm vibration surveys, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination and testing indoor air quality.
- Liaise with the company’s clients on a regular basis.
- Manage the projects/contracts effectively.
