An industry leading Water Treatment company with a presence across the UK are now seeking to take on an experienced and diligent Water Treatment Equipment / Service Engineer. The successful candidate will have experience conducting various equipment / service engineer duties such as installing, maintaining, and servicing of water softener, chlorine dioxide, and reverse osmosis equipment. This role would suit someone who has experience working on Healthcare, Industrial, Domestic, and Food and Beverage sites.
For the successful candidate, our client can offer a competitive commission scheme, overtime opportunities with generous overtime rates and the opportunity for career progression.
Experience & Qualifications
- Will have a background working as an equipment / service engineer for a reputable Water Treatment company.
- Holding an Electrical Engineering qualification or electrical qualification (17th or 18th edition) would be beneficial to the role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to organise work schedule in line with company and client needs.
- Fully versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
The Role
- Working on Healthcare, Industrial, Domestic, and Food & Beverage sites.
- Undertaking pre-work risk assessments.
- Carrying out the installation, maintenance, and servicing of water softener, chlorine dioxide units, and reverse osmosis equipment.
- Installing and replacing UV filtration and chemical dosing equipment.
- Undertaking fault finding on site, ensuring that any issues found are rectified in a timely manner.
- Conducting remedial work in line with client requirements.
- Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
- Creating detailed technical reports for clients based on site findings.
