Job Title and Location

Lead Water Treatment Engineer – Chelmsford, Essex (South East / M25 region)

Salary / Benefits

£22k – £35k + Training + Benefits

Experience & Qualifications

• Extensive hands‑on experience in the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene industry
• Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines
• Strong technical knowledge of Steam Boilers, Cooling Towers and Closed Systems
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in using PDA / Tablet systems

Role

• Carry out routine inspections, sampling, temperature monitoring and analysis of water systems on a mixed portfolio of sites
• Perform cleaning and disinfection of CWST’s, chemical tank cleans, steam boilers and cooling towers
• Oversee a team of engineers, schedule work and ensure the right equipment is available
• Service and disinfect mains water systems
• Provide training to site staff when required
• Generate prices, quotations and plans for clients
• Gather information from sites and create detailed reports for clients
