An opportunity has arisen within a well-established water treatment company that are currently seeking the services of a competent and hard-working Water Treatment Service Chemist to join their team in the Bolton area. This is a varied role and the successful candidate will be undertaking both industrial water treatment, alongside water compliance duties. Applications from Bury, Rochdale, Stockport, Stretford and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & experience:
- Experience of working in a service chemist role, undertaking the analysis of system boilers, closed systems and cooling tower water.
- Hands-on experience delivering water hygiene duties in accordance with ACOP L8.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene industry essential.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office package.
Role:
- Chemical analysis on cooling towers, steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
- Maintenance of domestic and industrial water systems.
- Routine monitoring tasks at various properties as per client requirements.
- Providing the full range of Service Chemist duties on an array of systems across a variety of sectors.
- Updating of site log books.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with new and existing clients.
