Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – Stockton-on-Tees

Our client is a highly respected name within the asbestos industry with a reputation for providing specialist asbestos services to a national client base. They are currently recruiting for an experienced, hardworking and adaptable Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in and around the Stockton-on-Tees area. The ideal candidate will hold the P402/3/4 asbestos certificates and will have experience carrying out asbestos surveys on a range of site types. Applications from Middlesborough, Newton Aycliffe, Darlington and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Ideally hold the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificate, or the equivalent RSPH qualifications.
• Experience working as an asbestos surveyor/analyst within the asbestos industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office package.
• Good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out asbestos 4‑stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re‑occupation and personal air testing.
• Management, refurbishment/demolition surveys on a variety of properties including commercial, domestic and industrial.
• Monitoring contractors on site ensuring that they comply with asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
• Produce accurate, comprehensive asbestos reports.
• Build and maintain a good working relationship with our large portfolio of clients.
