Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – Aberdeen

Job Description

Our client is a well-established asbestos consultancy that services a range of large‑scale commercial and industrial contacts throughout the UK. Due to new contract wins, they are currently seeking a professional and hard‑working Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in or around the Aberdeen area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and forward‑thinking asbestos company that can offer long‑term training and development. The client will also consider CVs from P402‑qualified asbestos surveyors with extensive experience working on a varied site base within the industry. Applications from Banchory, Ellon, Oldmeldrum and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must possess the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
• Experience working as an asbestos surveyor/analyst within the asbestos industry.
• Hold excellent communication skills.
• A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety legislation.
• Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Role

• Undertake asbestos 4‑stage clearances, including smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re‑occupation and personal air testing.
• Carry out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition asbestos surveys on a variety of properties, including commercial and industrial.
• Oversee contractors on site, ensuring compliance with asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
• Collate and produce asbestos reports.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
