A leading asbestos consultancy that provides specialist advice and services on all asbestos disciplines is seeking to employ an Asbestos Sales/Business Development Manager to work on contracts in the South. They would consider applications from Milton Keynes, Stevenage, Luton and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must come from a strong sales, business development, management, technical, office background is essential.
- A proven track record working within this role and the asbestos industry, although experience in other sectors would be beneficial.
- Have a good formal education and any other job related qualifications.
- Be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
- Provide good communications, leadership and organisational skills.
Purpose of the Role
- Manage new and existing accounts, taking the business to the next level.
- Get involved with the sales, commercial and financial side of the business – promoting the company’s asbestos services.
- Produce quotations and submit tenders.
- Develop and monitor business forecasts and budgets.
- Build a professional relationship with clients/customers by liaising and negotiating appropriately in regards to winning new contracts.
- Maintain the company’s systems – Database.
- Attend and conduct meetings to discuss the financial position of the business, etc.
- Achieving targets and goals.
- Partake in the development of the sales staff by providing further training.
- Deal with any inquiries with regards to sales, etc.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the company’s Health & Safety procedures.
- Developing plans for new clients and suppliers – contracts or services.
