Job Title: Asbestos Lab Analyst. Location: Hertford, Hertfordshire. Salary / Benefits £24k – £30k + Training + BenefitsWe have a position for an Asbestos Lab Analyst in the South of England with a reputable and UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy. This role would suit someone who has hands on experience working within a busy and fast paced UKAS accredited Asbestos Laboratory. You will be responsible for logging all asbestos samples upon arrival to the laboratory, safely preparing for analysis and using PLM & stereo microscopy to carry out bulk analysis in line with HSG 248 guidelines. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Watford, Harrow, Wembley, St Albans, Hartfield, Enfield, Welwyn Garden City, Harpenden, Cheshunt, Epping , Luton, Aylesbury, Hitchin and the surrounding areas. Experience & Qualifications: ” Holding the BOHS P401 is essential to the role. ” Will have experience working hands on as an Asbestos Lab Analyst for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy. ” Must be well versed in HSG 248 guidelines. ” Excellent IT skills, keeping systems accurate and up to date and completing job sheets. ” Will have a keen eye for detail. ” Excellent communication skills.
