Our client is a respected name within the Legionella industry, providing professional consultancy services to a diverse range of clients. They are recruiting for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with domestic hot and cold systems, in addition to process systems (cooling tower and healthcare). Our client has a growing client base and may require candidates to travel further afield on occasion, so this would suit a hardworking individual.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
  • Must hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
  • Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Proficient using IT software
  • Good interpersonal skills

The Role:

  • Conducting thorough legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold and cooling tower systems
  • Collating findings to produce detailed technical reports
  • Producing site-specific schematic drawings
  • Contacting clients to provide recommendations and project updates
  • Water sampling and temperature monitoring when required
  • Working to agreed deadlines / targets
  • Tailoring compliance regimes for clients
  • Travelling in line with company needs
