A UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy is recruiting for a detail-oriented Asbestos Report Checker / Administrator. They are ideally seeking someone within a commutable distance to their office in South Wales, but hybrid / home working is a possibility for the right candidate. It is essential that applicants hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent. This role would suit someone who would like to transition from site work and utilise their hands-on experience to quality check survey reports. Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience of quality checking / amending Asbestos Survey reports
- Will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
- Excellent technical knowledge, including: HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
- Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Able to manage own workload efficiently
- Experience with administrative tasks within an Asbestos outfit
The Role:
- Receiving Asbestos Survey reports in from site staff
- Proof-reading reports to ensure compliance and cohesion
- Making appropriate amendments to reports
- Working closely with Asbestos Surveyors to discuss report contents and highlight errors
- Using CAD software to produce detailed schematic drawings
- Answering incoming contact from clients
- Working to agreed deadlines
- Maintaining own personal technical knowledge
