Experience / Qualifications
- Strong experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited company
- Will be qualified with the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent)
- Fully conversant in HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
- Professional manner
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Proficient using IT software
The Role
- Carrying out management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across client sites
- Completing ad-hoc re-inspection surveys
- Sampling from site and bagging correctly
- Collating findings to produce site-specific technical reports
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, answering any technical or logistical issues
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Wearing correct PPE at all times
- Supporting the training of new surveyors
