Tiger Cubs Day Nursery are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful applicant will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with the ability to use their own initiative. This role is 27.5 hours per week, across a rota, 40.6 weeks per year. Working hours are Monday to Friday 12:00pmβ5:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.
- Working in partnership with parents and fellow colleagues.
- Maintaining child development and observation records.
- Following and implementing all policies and procedures set out by the nursery.
- Ensuring the key person approach is fully instilled in everyday practice.
Qualifications and requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification.
- Recent experience in a childcare setting which can be referenced and able to demonstrate knowledge of the developmental and learning needs of young children.
- You will also need to be a positive role-model to colleagues, students and visitors to the nursery.
- Applicants must want to pursue a career in childcare.
- Strive to be a team player.
- Be self-motivated in both studies and workplace.
