An exciting opportunity to join our team at Future Rooms, an expanding group of companies who specialise in SIP (Structurally Insulated Panels) construction, primarily for Garden Rooms, Glamping Pods and Modular Annexe buildings. This full-time position is to head-up the design team at our offices in Worcestershire.
Role
- Producing 2D CAD plans and 3D models of garden rooms, pods and annexes, both to standard and bespoke designs.
- Drawings will range in purpose for building regulations submissions, planning, structural design, client visualisation, marketing and workshop cutting lists.
- Liaise with structural engineers and building control to ensure compliance.
- Drive improvement of existing practices and standards.
- Based in our Upton-upon-Severn site. Initially this will be entirely an office-based role, but there may be some scope for hybrid working after probation is successfully passed.
Requirements
- Architectural degree, qualification or professional body membership.
- 2 years minimum 2D CAD software experience essential (ideally AutoCAD).
- 3D modelling software experience preferred (ideally Revit).
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methods.
- Modular building knowledge preferable but not essential.
- Innovative and self-motivated personality.
Salary £30-35k depending on experience
Annual bonus (percentage of company bonus pot)
Access to company car for commuting and occasional site visits
Early 3pm Friday finish

20 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)
