We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker / Toolroom Engineer to join a dynamic team specialising in injection moulding across medical, plastic packaging, and consumer goods sectors. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in both CNC and conventional toolroom machinery, who is passionate about precision engineering and high-quality mould production.
- Manufacture, maintain, and repair injection mould tools to the highest standards.
- Operate and program CNC machinery for toolmaking operations.
- Work with conventional toolroom equipment, including lathes, grinders, and EDM machines.
- Conduct precision measurements and quality checks on tooling and components.
- Collaborate with production and design teams to troubleshoot and improve tools.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in toolmaking / toolroom engineering within injection moulding environments.
- Proficient with CNC machinery as well as conventional toolroom equipment (lathes, grinders, EDM).
- Strong understanding of plastic materials, injection moulding processes, and tooling requirements.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
