Our client is a leading International Flexible Packaging Group manufacturing & recycling a range of products including stretch film, shrink film and pallet wrap to markets such as agriculture, food and drinks, animal feed & bedding, building and construction and logistics. With a strong reputation for innovation, sustainability, and customer partnership, they continue to expand rapidly across key markets. They are seeking a driven and commercially focused Sales Representative to join the UK team and accelerate growth. This is a field-based role with regular customer visits across the UK. Occasional travel to Group sites in Europe may be required.
In this role, you will:
- Drive new business acquisition by identifying, engaging, and converting potential customers (70% new business focus).
- Grow and develop existing accounts, maximising value and uncovering new opportunities within each customer (30% Account Management).
- Work closely with Telesales team to convert pre-qualified leads and build a strong pipeline.
- Take a consultative approach to understand customer needs and present compelling solutions.
- Provide guidance on sustainable packaging options that help customers reduce waste and meet environmental goals.
- Support customer performance by collaborating with our technical specialists when deeper product expertise is required.
- Consistently deliver on revenue and margin growth targets and contribute to the broader commercial strategy.
About You
They are looking for a proactive commercial professional with a strong focus on winning new business and developing accounts. Ideally, you will have:
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably within stretch film, packaging, or a related industry (desirable but not essential).
- A track record of new business development, pipeline management, and account growth.
- A consultative sales style with the ability to uncover customer challenges and position value-led solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to work independently, manage your own territory, and drive results with a self-motivated mindset.
- A good understanding of packaging performance or a willingness to develop technical knowledge with support from the team.
