Our client is a well-established supplier of food packaging solutions, working with major food producers across the UK and Europe. They are known for quality, compliance, and reliable service within highly regulated food manufacturing environments. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Internal Sales & Marketing Executive to support sales activity, customer relationships, and brand presence. This is a varied, office-based role combining internal sales support, proactive outbound calling, and marketing / social media activity.
You will support the external sales team, manage customer enquiries, help generate new business opportunities, and assist with promoting the company's products and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the sales team with quotes, enquiries, and order follow-ups
- Manage day-to-day customer communication and sales support
- Proactively contact existing and prospective customers to generate leads
- Conduct outbound calls and follow up marketing enquiries
- Assist with marketing activity including email campaigns and presentations
- Manage and update company social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn etc)
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales data
- Experience in internal sales, sales support, or customer service (B2B preferred)
- Confident making outbound calls and engaging customers
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Interest or experience in marketing and social media
- Comfortable using CRM systems and MS Office
- Background in packaging, food, or manufacturing
- Experience selling into food producers or FMCG environments
- Proactive, confident, and commercially aware
- Well organised with a positive, can-do attitude
- Able to balance sales support with marketing responsibilities
