Our client is a leading UK provider of high-quality wide and small format print solutions based in the North, delivering exceptional results across roll-to-roll, rigid, flat sheet and large format graphics up to 3.2 metres wide. Known for quality, reliability, and innovation, they work with a diverse client base across B2B, Trade, Construction, Exhibition and Creative Agencies, supporting impactful visual communication nationwide. They are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of the company. This is a predominantly new business role, focused on identifying, developing, and securing new opportunities across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across B2B, Trade, Construction, Exhibition and Agency sectors.
- Sell a full range of wide and small format print solutions, including roll-to-roll, rigid, flat sheet and large format graphics up to 3.2m.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry contacts.
- Conduct client meetings (virtual and face-to-face) to understand requirements and present tailored solutions.
- Prepare and negotiate quotations, proposals, and pricing in line with company strategy.
- Work closely with internal production and customer service teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales activity reports.
- Represent the company professionally at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
About You:
- Proven experience in business development or sales within print, graphics, signage or wide format.
- Strong knowledge of wide format, rigid, roll-to-roll and flat sheet print solutions.
- Demonstrated success in new business generation and growing revenue.
- Established contacts within Trade, Construction, Exhibition or Agency sectors (advantageous).
- Highly self-motivated with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Able to work autonomously in a remote, national role.
- Full UK driving licence.
