Our client is a well-established and highly respected manufacturer of bespoke and ready-to-go thermoformed packaging for food applications. With many years' specialist experience in the design, tooling and manufacture of sustainable and recycled plastics, they have a zero waste supply chain and a closed loop recycling system. They are a preferred supplier to a number of well-known brands and retailers across the UK, and proud to exceed the required standards of hygiene, customer service, compliance and most importantly, product quality.
The business is in an exciting period of growth and has recently invested £Millions in new machinery and in-house manufacturing capabilities, with further development and expansion already planned. This investment allows them to offer increased capacity, improved sustainability credentials and enhanced technical support to their customers.
They are now looking to recruit a field-based Business Development Manager to support this growth by driving new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing customers. This is a key commercial role focused on winning new accounts, developing long-term partnerships and promoting the company's expanded technical and production capabilities to the market.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities within food and non-food thermoformed packaging
- Managing and growing key customer relationships
- Promoting the company's new in-house capabilities and technical strengths
- Working closely with internal teams to deliver customer solutions
- Supporting long-term commercial growth in line with the company's strategy
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven sales or business development experience within thermoformed or rigid plastic packaging
