Our client is an established signage and graphics company based in Lancashire. This role is suited to a junior or someone with 1 - 2 years' experience working within a production workshop environment (ideally signs and large format but the client will consider similar manufacturing areas).
The position supports the manufacture and preparation of large format graphics through the operation of flatbed printers, plotters, and CNC machinery. The role requires a practical, hands-on approach, attention to detail and a willingness to learn within a fast paced production setting.
Responsibilities:
- Operate flatbed printers, plotters and CNC machinery in line with production requirements
- Assist with the preparation, finishing and handling of large format graphics and materials
- Ensure all machinery is operated safely and in accordance with workplace procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment
- Support senior production staff with daily workshop tasks
- Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance of equipment as required
- Adhere to health and safety policies at all times
