(PK9141) TOOLMAKER / TOOLING ENGINEER WEST MIDLANDS £40-50K DOE + Benefits + 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays Contract: Full-time, Permanent We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker / Toolroom Engineer to join a dynamic team specialising in injection moulding across medical, plastic packaging, and consumer goods sectors. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in both CNC and conventional toolroom machinery, who is passionate about precision engineering and high-quality mould production. Key Responsibilities: Manufacture, maintain, and repair injection mould tools to the highest standards. Operate and program CNC machinery for toolmaking operations. Work with conventional toolroom equipment, including lathes, grinders, and EDM machines. Conduct precision measurements and quality checks on tooling and components. Collaborate with production and design teams to troubleshoot and improve tools. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience in toolmaking / toolroom engineering within injection moulding environments. Proficient with CNC machinery as well as conventional toolroom equipment (lathes, grinders, EDM). Strong understanding of plastic materials, injection moulding processes, and tooling requirements. Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills.Desirable Experience: Experience across medical, plastic packaging, or consumer goods tooling.
