We are working with a rapidly growing production & installation business in the signage, graphics and fabrication space, they are seeking a proactive and organised Sign Project Manager to join a specialist team. The business serves Retail and Corporate clients and offers a full product range including signs, graphics, CNC manufactured components, vinyl's, LED lighting and installation services.

In this role you will manage multiple contracts from order through to receipt and hand over, working closely with artwork/design, the factory and install teams. You will coordinate projects end to end across the production pipeline, ensuring quality, timing and cost targets are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full life cycle of signage/graphics projects for Retail & Corporate clients: from order intake through artwork approval, production planning, factory processing, installation scheduling and hand over.
  • Act as primary client facing contact: meeting with clients, gathering requirements, providing updates and managing expectations.
  • Liaise with internal functions: artwork/design team, CNC/fabrication shop floor, vinyl/graphics production, LED/electrical team, in house install teams (UK & overseas).
  • Maintain detailed project plans: timelines, resource allocation, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Monitor budgets and costs: ensure profitability and margin targets are achieved; flag variances early.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance: all manufactured and installed items meet specifications and client standards.
  • Troubleshoot issues: resolve delays or quality problems proactively, escalate as necessary and propose mitigations.
  • Manage installation scheduling and logistics: coordinate site access, installations, sign off and client hand over.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement: recommend process enhancements to optimise throughput, cost efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Provide regular project reporting to senior management: status updates, KPIs, risk register and lessons learned.
Essential:
  • Proven experience in project management within the signage, fabrication, graphics, display or retail installation industry.
  • Comfortable managing diverse product types: signs, graphics, vinyl, LED/lighting, CNC manufactured items.
  • Strong organisational skills: ability to manage multiple concurrent contracts, competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communicator: able to coordinate between clients, design/artwork, production and installation teams.
  • Commercially aware: understanding of cost control, margin management and project profitability.
  • Site installation awareness: familiar with logistics of sign install works.
  • Self motivated with a hands on approach and problem solving mindset.
  • Valid driver's licence (due to client‐visits/site travel).
