PRINT FINISHER HERTFORDSHIRE

£28K-32K (DOE) + OVERTIME PAID 1 ½ + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

MONDAY – FRIDAY 8AM – 5PM

My client is a leading Print manufacturer, with an impressive plant list covering Printing, Finishing, Laminating and Folding in-house!

They are now looking for a Print Finisher to join their team, the chosen candidate will have experience operating Heidelberg Stahl Folders, Polar Guillotine or Horizon Stitcher. You should be able to work well on your own and as part of a team to achieve quality products!

The Role:

Operate and maintain Heidelberg Stahl Folders, Polar Guillotine, and Horizon finishing equipment. (Experience on all would be of an advantage)
Set up and run guillotines to cut printed materials accurately, ensuring minimal waste.
Perform folding, creasing, perforating, and other finishing processes to required specifications.
Conduct regular quality checks to maintain high finishing standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues on finishing equipment.
Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company health and safety procedures.
Assist with additional finishing tasks such as laminating, binding, and booklet-making when required.Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience as a Print Finisher or Guillotine Operator
Proficiency with Heidelberg Stahl Folders, Polar Guillotine, and Horizon machinery.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to precise measurements.
Understanding of print finishing techniques and materials.
Ability to read and interpret job sheets and technical specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
