Our client specialises in the production, restoration & binding of publications for some of the UK's most prestigious names. They are looking to recruit an Estimator to join their team. They offer high-quality short-run projects through a mix of cutting-edge automated equipment and traditional hand craftsmanship.
The Estimator will be responsible for estimating costs and providing quotes for digital printing and bookbinding projects. The Estimator will consider job requirements, select appropriate equipment, determine labour and material costs working with their MIS / quote systems and create detailed and accurate quotes. The Estimator will work closely with new and existing customers to develop and maintain relationships.
Qualifications:- Experience in estimating costs for digital printing and books
- Knowledge of printing and binding techniques and equipment
- Ability to communicate and explain sometimes complex concepts to clients and team members
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Accura MIS (or similar), Microsoft Excel and office suite
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
