(PK9422) INSIDE SALES SUPPORT & ADMINISTRATION - LABELS WEST MIDLANDS Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 4.30pm Competitive base salary DOE (Depending on Experience) + pension Our client manufactures custom self-adhesive labels in sheet and roll formats for clients across the UK. They are looking for a Customer Service Inside Sales Support & Administration Representative to serve as a key point of contact for customers and to support the sales team by managing enquiries, quotations, order processing, and ongoing account communication. Working within a manufacturing environment, this role ensures exceptional customer service while helping drive sales growth through proactive account support, accurate order management, and coordination with production and operations teams. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, order status, lead times, and delivery schedules. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive and professional communication. Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and issues promptly while ensuring customer satisfaction. Provide product information and guidance related to label materials, printing processes, and application requirements. Coordinate with production, purchasing, scheduling and despatch to ensure customer expectations are met. Sales Support: Prepare and follow up on customer quotations, historical activity and sales proposals. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently within the company's ERP management system. Support sales by managing account information, preparing reports, and coordinating customer requests. Support of operations through inventory management, accurate information and communication Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services. Outbound call & contact of existing and old customers to generate opportunities / repeat orders Maintain customer records, pricing information, and sales activity within CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems. Assist with new customer onboarding, account support and setup. Order Management: Review incoming orders for accuracy, specifications, pricing, and delivery requirements. Monitor order progress from receipt through shipment and communicate updates to customers. Coordinate artwork approvals, proofs, and label specifications with customers and internal departments. Ensure all documentation related to customer orders is complete and accurate. Manage order revisions, schedule changes, and urgent requests as needed. Administrative Support: Generate sales reports, forecasts, and customer activity summaries. Maintain organised and accurate customer and inventory files and documentation. Assist with inventory-related inquiries and product availability checks. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Skills & Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of customer service, inside sales, or account support experience. Experience in manufacturing, printing, packaging, or label production preferred. Estimating, quoting, and order entry systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Mathematical and analytical skills for pricing and quotations. Familiarity with label materials, adhesives, substrates, and finishing processes would be hugely beneficial.Success Measures: Customer satisfaction and retention. Order accuracy and on-time processing. Responsiveness to customer inquiries. Support of sales growth and account development initiatives. Effective coordination between customers and internal departments.This is an office-based position within a manufacturing environment. The role requires frequent interaction with customers, sales, production staff, and suppliers. You will be working standard business hours with occasional overtime if needed, to support customer or operational requirements
