Our client specialise in providing comprehensive solutions for design, print, mailing services, and document management across diverse sectors. They are currently looking to recruit a Design Data Specialist to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop variable data print projects using XMPie, Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Excel.
- Collaborate with Client Services and Mailing Production teams to integrate data and design into VDP templates.
- Collaborate with Client Services to amend or design various print artwork.
- Present a general understanding of DSA guidelines.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of data in all printed materials.
- Maintain up to date documentation of processes and projects whilst also identifying and suggesting improvements.
- Communicate effectively with Production teams to help manage workload.
- Operate and maintain digital printing presses and other digital equipment.
- Monitor print quality and make adjustments as necessary.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Proficiency in XMPie (advantageous), Adobe Indesign, Microsoft Excel (both essential) and the Fiery suite of software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of various teams as well as independently.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Recent experience within the Digital Print and Communications industry would be preferred but not essential.
