Our client is a UK supplier of corrugated transit packaging, offering high-quality, cost-effective solutions for protecting goods in transit. They combine manufacturing expertise, stockholding, and trading capabilities to meet diverse customer needs quickly and reliably. They are looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team. Due to the company working on food packing this role requires candidates with experience of BRC or similar Accreditation Management experience. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and maintain BRC and FSC accreditation Regularly review and verify standards to ensure full compliance Conduct and analyse internal audits across all areas of BRC and FSC standards, maintaining accurate records, documentation, and reports Manage customer complaints through thorough investigation, coordination with relevant factory staff, detailed documentation, and final reporting to customers Conduct annual supplier audits via email, monitor performance, and track updates Manage relationships with service suppliers, including site visits, performance monitoring, and record keeping Review and update company policies as required Oversee Health & Safety compliance, ensuring all documentation and policies are current Stay informed on environmental regulations and complete required returns Monitor pest control activities, ensuring all issues are addressed promptly Keep up to date with food packaging regulations Manage company quality standards, approvals, and accreditations, as well as import and export administration, maintain strong relationships with customers and supplier partnersRequirements: Proven experience with BRC accreditation or a similar quality standard Knowledge of FSC standards preferred Experience in food packaging is an advantage Background in the food industry is essential
