Are you a Senior Mechanical Project Manager looking to take ownership of major mechanical packages on some of the UK and Europe's largest construction projects, with a clear route towards MEP Project Director? This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing international main contractor delivering technically complex projects worth billions across the UK and Europe. Based on a major project in Somerset, you will take a leading role in the mechanical delivery, working closely with the wider MEP, construction, commercial and project leadership teams.

The business has built its reputation around being agile, ambitious and genuinely performance-driven. Unlike larger contractors where decisions can become tied up in multiple layers of management, the company operates with a relatively flat structure, allowing decisions to be made quickly and giving strong performers real responsibility. This is particularly suited to someone ambitious about their long-term career. You will have the opportunity to progress into MEP Project Director level, with continued project opportunities across the UK and internationally as the business expands.

Your role as Senior Mechanical Project Manager will include:

  • Leading the delivery of major mechanical packages from pre-construction through installation, commissioning and handover
  • Managing mechanical subcontractors, engineers and site teams
  • Driving programme, quality, safety and commercial performance across your packages
  • Coordinating closely with electrical, CSA, design, commercial and commissioning teams

The successful Senior Mechanical Project Manager will need:

  • Strong Mechanical Project Management experience within a main contractor or specialist MEP contractor
  • Experience delivering large-scale, technically complex construction projects
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams
  • A proactive approach with the ability to make decisions and solve problems on site
  • Ability to work site-based in Somerset

This is an excellent opportunity to join an international contractor during a significant period of growth, work on projects valued in the billions and establish yourself as part of the business's future senior leadership team.
