What you\’ll be doing
As Video Presenter, reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, you will be the face of our original science video content, which will feature in-article and on our YouTube and social channels. You will create scripts and present our regular videos, working with a Video Editor and Producer to create trustworthy, inspiring content that spans earth sciences to future technology, archaeology, space, health and more.
- You will script and present videos for Live Science, talking about all things science, planet earth, animals, archaeology, space, health and more.
- You will help build our video and social video offering from the ground-up.
- You will be at the cutting edge of reliable, informative and trustworthy science journalism, working in a talented and passionate team.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
- Knowledge of science across a range of topics
- Experience working on short-form science content and social media video.
- An understanding of different social media video platforms\’ content and audience.
- On-camera experience, with an example showreel to hand being desirable.
- Experience using the Google Suite is helpful.
- A science degree or masters is advantageous.

This is a Remote-based role in the United Kingdom (but if you\’re near the Bath office you can work hybrid from there).
