FourFourTwo is on the look out for an experienced production editor. You will need to be passionate and knowledgeable about professional football at all levels. This is a great opportunity for an experienced production professional to make their mark on the UK\'s biggest and best football title.
What you\'ll be doing
Reporting to the Group Production Editor, responsibilities include sub-editing copy to house style, proofing InDesign pages, championing accuracy and appropriateness of all editorial copy, and ensuring that all deadlines are met.
- A key requirement of this role is to manage the processes used to govern workflow and ensure these are up to date and accurate, while maintaining the highest standard of production work.
- You will also undertake several digital tasks, including reformatting the magazine for digital editions, writing the \'new issue\' blog for FourFourTwo.com; and other website duties
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
- Sub-editing/production experience.
- Excellent proficiency in Adobe Indesign and Google Suite
- Excellent expertise in CMS systems
- In-depth knowledge of professional football at all levels
