What you\’ll be doing

At Future, our proprietary ad technology delivers billions of ad impressions to hundreds of millions of engaged users monthly. We are responsible for delivering outcomes for our advertisers, whilst not losing sight of the end user experience.

As theProduct Manager, Adtech, you will drive the development and evolution of our ad offering, with a particular focus on driving ROAS & performance outcomes for our clients. You will report to our Senior Commercial Product Manager, and collaborate with engineers, data scientists, sales, operations, and other business stakeholders, to identify opportunities to enhance functionality and performance. Your work will ensure that our ad technology meets the needs of our advertisers and end-users while aligning with Future key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Leads the definition and agreement of the Strategic Product Roadmap for Performance Ads
  • Leads product discovery processes.
  • Develop and refine a hypothesis-based roadmap (HBR) to iterate and test platform features, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
  • Evaluate and prioritize new feature requests, balancing competing ideas and establishing ways to test, iterate and scale those via the “platform effect”.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure all product proposals and updates align with Future\’s digital strategy.
  • Defines clear investment case for significant product and/or platform initiatives
  • Index highly for implementation.
  • Reports on benefit realisation for all product initiatives.

Platform Collaboration

  • Serve as one of the key points of contact for internal teams and stakeholders to address issues, query functionality, and gather input for product enhancements.
  • Present new features to internal teams to drive adoption, gather feedback, and iterate for improved outcomes.
  • Helps embed change in the business following launch of new products, propositions and features.
  • Communicate change proposals to business stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals before execution.
  • Work cross-functionally with data scientists, UX designers, and stakeholder teams to understand user behavior, perform user testing, and identify opportunities for ad tech innovation.
  • Works cross-functionally with Engineering colleagues in an Agile software development environment.
  • Manage and refine delivery backlog with engineering stakeholders.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • Must have advertising experience.
  • Experience with Ad Serving / GAM is essential.
  • Experience working with DMPs/CDPs is preferable.
  • Demonstrated success in optimizing products through ideation, testing, and analysis, with measurable improvements to KPIs.
  • Experience gathering requirements across diverse areas and users, and converting and developing them into a product solution.
  • Deep understanding of the “platform effect” and how incremental changes can create large-scale impacts.
  • Data-driven analysis, with expertise in evaluating KPIs to inform decisions, identify value, and drive impactful outcomes.
  • Experience designing scalable and flexible solutions for diverse brands and content categories.
  • Experience working within UX, business development, and/or engineering is desirable but not required.
