The International and Bookazine team at Marketforce is a dynamic, market leading team representing a diverse portfolio of magazines worldwide, developing innovative, sustainable and profitable newsstand sales. We work closely with partners across the globe to drive measurable international growth, strengthen category performance, and deliver market leadership in diverse territories. The International team continues to outperform revenue targets and the global magazine market, a result of the passion, commitment and ambition of the team.
You will manage the global sales of some of the world’s best magazine brands. The International Department at Marketforce is looking for a data-literate and dynamic individual to work within the award-winning international distribution team as an International Trade Marketing Associate. Reporting to the Group International Business Development Manager, you will manage the international sales and distribution for some of Marketforce’s most prestigious publisher clients.
Your role will have two main purposes:
- Manage specific Publisher portfolios and develop their international strategy
- Manage specific territories for the whole Marketforce portfolio.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve:
- An understanding of process management.
- High level of numeracy able to analyse data from a number of different angles and draw the correct conclusions.
- The ability to translate sales data into clear actions and recommendations.
- The ability to construct persuasive and creative sales marketing information.
- Stakeholder management experience.
- The ability to work with teams and coordinate activity across relevant departments.
- Able to present complex data in a concise, easy to understand format.
- Knowledge of G Suite / MS Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
The expected range for this role is £25,000 - £27,500. This is a hybrid role from our Cardiff Office, working three days from the office, two from home. Plus more great perks, which include:
