Are you an experienced Email Marketing Manager looking for your next career move? Who What Wear UK and Marie Claire UK are looking for a specialist to lead the execution of email marketing, retention and growth campaigns for two leading fashion and beauty brands.
As the Email Marketing Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations of email marketing across both brands. This includes building and scheduling newsletters and dedicated sends, producing weekly performance reports, and coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure the timely delivery of campaigns, including third-party partnerships.
Reporting to the Managing Editor, you will own and optimise the newsletter and partnerships referral channels, focusing on driving traffic, affiliate revenue and subscriber engagement and loyalty across both brands. You should feel confident sharing key performance insights in weekly meetings and be able to provide context around the data to inform team priorities and next steps. You'll collaborate closely with the Managing Editor on overarching newsletter strategy, help scale email marketing campaigns and support major brand moments by planning targeted email distribution strategies around these.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve:- Over three years' experience in email marketing, including segmentation, automation and customer journeys
- Experience using ESPs such as Sailthru, Klaviyo, Selligent, or similar platforms
- A solid understanding of HTML for email, with a basic knowledge of CSS
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, including building and analysing custom reports
- Skill in using project management tools (Asana, Trello, Monday.com) to coordinate and track campaign roll-outs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Creative Suite and Google Workspace
- Experience in adapting strategy and working in an agile manner to respond to shifting goals, timelines and priorities
- Proven contribution to the ideation, launch and execution of multi-stage email marketing campaigns
- Experience working in publishing and/or with fashion and beauty brands is a plus, but not necessary
