Who we are
We're Future, a global leader in specialist media. Our people bring our trusted brands to life, helping millions of people discover expert content that informs, inspires, and drives action. As a pioneering multiplatform media powerhouse, we provide expert content and technology that build valuable communities across all channels.
What you'll do
We are seeking a Junior Creative with a graphic design background who is equal parts visionary storyteller and meticulous craftsman. In this role, you will be the visual anchor for a diverse portfolio of campaigns. Reporting to the Bespoke Art Director, this role will be dedicated to working on Wallpaper* magazine. You will conceptualise and deliver world-class co-branded and white-label content for the globe’s most discerning luxury brands. Living at the intersection of design, architecture, fashion, and lifestyle, we collaborate with the finest external creative minds in photography, design, writing, styling, and film to produce work of unparalleled quality.
You will work across a mix of supplied partner assets (elevating them to meet our publication’s rigorous standards) and fully produced, original creative projects. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role. You will actively design, refine, and bring campaigns to life across print, digital, social, and experiential media.
Support Visual Direction: Collaborate closely with the Art Director to help concept and execute multi-platform campaigns (print, digital, social, and experiential), ensuring all design outputs align with our aesthetic. You’ll work on:
- Full-Service Campaigns from concepting to final delivery.
- Printed Material & Assets, including High-end Books, Booklets, Maps, and Inserts.
- Digital & Audio: Video, Social Campaigns, Podcasts, and Newsletters.
- Experiential: International Events (Receptions, Parties, Panel Discussions) and International Exhibitions.
- White-Label Projects: Tailored Marketing Collateral and Art Direction directly for external brands.
- Hands-on Execution & Artworking: Take high-level concepts and visual directions established by the Art Director and bring them to life through meticulous typography layouts, asset creation, and day-to-day design execution.
- Versatile Project Adaptation: Adapt seamlessly to different project types, whether polishing and formatting client-supplied assets, building out co-branded editorial integrations, or executing white-labelled creative assets under the guidance of senior creatives.
- Print & Layout Delivery: Apply a strong foundation in grid systems and editorial design to premium printed materials (books, booklets, maps). You will assist in preparing flawless, print-ready files and learn to navigate paper stocks and premium finishes.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Art Director, internal stakeholders, project managers, and the wider creative team, learning to confidently present and articulate your design decisions.
What you’ll bring
You possess an elevated and sophisticated taste level which translates through to your visual language. Your portfolio demonstrates a strong understanding and appreciation of typography, layout and art direction, with a considered eye for detail. You understand how a single creative concept can translate beautifully from a print spread to an interactive digital feature to a physical activation. You know how to communicate with a discerning audience and have a genuine passion for art, design, culture, architecture and fashion, alongside an understanding and engagement with contemporary culture. You are comfortable in a fast-paced publisher or agency environment and are able to collaborate with copywriters, project managers, photo editors, accounts and editorial. You don’t need to have done it all. We don’t expect a portfolio filled with global campaigns, published books or fully realised art direction. What matters most is a willingness to learn, a positive attitude and a genuine desire to collaborate, grow with the team and strive to consistently produce your best work.
