We're looking for someone who can create top quality, original lifestyle features for Future's women's print brands including Woman & Home, Woman, Woman's Weekly, Woman's Own and Chat. You'll be an experienced editor/writer who can generate ideas, commission and leverage commercial opportunities to maintain the success of the brands. You'll maintain deadlines, schedules and planning.
What you'll be doing:
- Responsibility for generating ideas, planning, commissioning and editing agreed pages across multiple brands, liaising with brand editors as part of the planning process.
- A strong understanding of our brands, what copy works for our audience and what our competitors are offering.
- Liaising with on-brand PRs and freelance writers.
- Delivering high quality, engaging and accurate content to deadline.
- Maintaining planning grids and schedules.
- Booking freelance cover for holidays.
- Deputising for the group features director and supporting the wider features team where necessary.
- Identifying reuse opportunities to maximise budget efficiency.
- Working with other teams, such as digital and commercial effectively to deliver company strategy.

- Ability to pitch original, creative ideas for features.
- Excellent industry contacts, including PRs and top writers.
- Can work as part of a team and to guide and manage less senior colleagues.
