Future plc has a portfolio of the world’s leading homes brands, including Gardening Know How. This is a chance to take on the Editor in Chief role at Gardening Know How, one of the world’s biggest gardening websites.

What you'll be doing:

  • Reporting to the Content Director, you'll deliver traffic and ecommerce growth, and support commercial performance across all platforms.
  • You’ll lead the team to create industry-leading content across all aspects of gardening and media channels.
  • You'll be responsible for delivering top-quality content aligned with the brand strategy, delighting our target market, and supporting commercial aims.
  • You’ll manage the content calendar and output planner, collaborate with central centres of excellence to train your team, and act as a brand ambassador, networking with clients and industry contacts.

  • Relevant editorial experience with digital and print media background.
  • Understanding of building audiences online and knowledge of acquisition channels.
  • Deep knowledge of content distribution channels.
  • Expertise in editorial SEO and analytics.
  • Passion for homes and gardens, with ability to write for American audiences.
  • Strong industry contacts.
  • Experience managing freelance budgets.
  • People management skills and ability to work within a senior management team.

  • This is a hybrid role based in our London office, working three days onsite and two from home.
